In Birt Reports - Displaying the most common string value in group -

For the data of this example: 

  index, state, meal 1, ca, Hamburger 2, NE, lettuce 3, ca, cheese 4, ny, lettuce 5, ny, paneer 6, ar, paneer

I will show the most common food for the group of the state and for each state. So the result should be for example: 

  state, popular food ca, hamburger ny, lettuce ar, cheese

The problem is I can not Find an aggregation that will return the most common string. 'Mode' function but it only works on integer, am I forgetting something? Thanks!

should do the following:

  • Set up two groups -
  • Arrange the food sub-group by counting aggregation
  • li>
  • Output state and food in the foothills of the state group
