rubygems - Can I have/use different Versions of rails in the same machine -

I am actually reading a rail book written for rail 2.3.5. I want to test Rail 3 Beta, is it possible to do such a setup in my Mac OS leopard?

I have tried to rail with the gem list - there are many versions in my mac, but during the application form using rail orders, I do not know how to use different versions of the railways. Install railroad gem: gem installed rail-east
